Christina Neitzke-Troike is a lifelong Illinoisian with deep roots in the suburban Chicago region. A graduate of Lockport Township High School and Moraine Valley Community College, Christina has built her career on the principle of direct, hands-on service. She is running for Lieutenant Governor to ensure that Illinois meets the needs of each community in our state.

Christina is currently the mayor of Homer Glen, and she possesses a distinguished record of nearly two decades in elected office. Her government experience includes serving as Homer Township Trustee (2009-2015), Village of Homer Glen Trustee (2015-2019), and Village Clerk (2019-2023). This extensive background provides Christina with an unparalleled understanding of how state mandates affect local budgets, property taxes, and public services -- an understanding that she will bring to Springfield to champion effective and fiscally responsible governance across Illinois.

Beyond government, Christina is a passionate advocate focused on helping individuals across the state. She is the founder and committee member of the Village of Homer Glen Veterans event. She is also the founder and committee member of the Ability Awareness Committee Homer Glen. She serves as the President of Homer Cares, a non-profit dedicated to helping special-needs families.

Christina brings a proven business and fiscal record to the campaign. She managed Konow's Corn Maze at Zachary's Red Barn & Farm and served in the accounting department at Homer Tree Service. For the past ten years, she has managed a portfolio of properties. This experience has provided her with an understanding of the regulatory burdens facing small businesses in Illinois.

Christina has two stepsons and one stepdaughter, and she and her husband, Dan, have a son and daughter. They reside in Homer Glen.*
